The first experiment was creating plaster finger molds.

When plaster powder is mixed with water, the soft liquid slowly begins to harden and even releases a bit of heat.

Students used their own hands to create plaster molds.

As they waited for the plaster to set, they also observed a chemical reaction taking place—leaving behind a truly special “handmade” memory.

In addition to the plaster experiment, students also explored molecular gastronomy, observing the fascinating changes created by ionic reactions.

Very often, the beginning of science starts with a simple question:

“Wait… why?”

At TCS,

Science is not just something found in textbooks.

It begins with curiosity—and grows through hands-on discovery.
