2026 Maple Red Empowerment | Exploring Women’s Voices at TCS
In celebration of International Women’s Day, TCS High School hosted the “Maple Power” activity—an experience designed to be different from a traditional lecture.
Instead of sitting and listening, students were invited to move, explore, and reflect.
Five classrooms became themed stations featuring 11 inspiring women from different eras and fields. Students moved between rooms, watched short clips, answered questions, and earned stickers as they completed each challenge.
One station was a message wall, where students wrote notes on maple-leaf cards. Some expressed gratitude to important women in their lives, while others wrote words of encouragement to themselves. Slowly, the once-blank wall filled with stories and reflections.
The event concluded with a podcast-style dialogue hosted by Ivy, featuring Andy and Tilaine. Before each topic, students responded to anonymous polls, sparking thoughtful—and often humorous—conversations about expectations, labels, and personal growth.
Through exploration and dialogue, students were encouraged to reflect on who they are and how we can support one another.
At TCS, we believe true strength comes from becoming allies who uplift and inspire each other beyond labels.
